I love the look on Benji's face! "Mom, honestly! Another picture! Come on! We're tryin' to relax here!" Lol! And though it looks like Benji is choking Emma, he isn't. They were just laying comfortably together and he layed his arm across her. They really don't lay together like this too much. Seriously, I know I said that before, and I swear this was after I said that and here they are trying to prove me wrong! I think Emma feels more the mother to him, because she took care of him and bathed him and his siblings when they came to us at about 5 or 6 weeks of age. They do occasionally chase and ruff-house with each other. Emma loves her Benji Boo!

OOOHHH, speaking of Lane Bryant! I owe my perky boobs to them!!! That is where I got measured and found I had been wearing the wrong size bra! I LOVE their bras!!!

OK Karen, not to sound cheesey or gay but, I LOVE YOU!!!! You are so wonderful and you are doing a FANTASTIC job! I wish there were people to help with the kitties but I know that GOD chose the right person to be in there! And eventually, he'll chose another to come in and help. Dogs get adopted because everyone "loves" dogs. Special people adopt cats! So it takes a special person who is dedicated to getting to know the personality traits of the cats, because they sincerely want to see the cat go home with the right family! You're doing such a wonderful thing! Please keep your chin up!

When I was in Petsmart (and that may be where I go to volunteer), I started playing with the kitties and got a girl to just make the decision to take the two black twins (brothers).
She only wanted one more cat, had one at home. It was obvious she loved those Grr-type kitties, they were adorable.
It really wasn't hard to do, the real volunteer was up front reading a magazine, watching me thru the glass. Basically, her mind was made up, she just needed a slight nudge. I her about the Maneko Neko and how the cat should pick you; I explained the symbology behind a cats colors. The black cat in Asia and most cultures is extremely lucky, protection against evil, etc. To have one seek you out is considered a blessing. And she had two of them want her.
I told her she was double lucky. She said yes, she had twins at home. I said, see it's a done deal.
Meaning she had twin boys -- human -- at home. Told her each son could have a lucky cat. That was all it took.
