Friday Food, er...Friends

Wow! Lookie at our babie now! This picture, Meowmie took the next day(after previous post), the 29th. Babie already has fuzzy fev-vers on his head! And he's a'gettin' fatter!

These next pictures were taken a day later (from above) on the 30th. Still getting fatter and one ah his egg brothers is missing! But we don't see no other babie. Darn!

Sammie has enjoyed watching too. She's lucky 'acause she gets to watch from outside! Meowmie is worried for the babie when it starts tah learn to fly. Unfortunately for Sammie, meowmie will be watching her like a hawk when she goes outside to potty.

These next two pictures, which are so yummy looking... These were taken just yesterday! Can u believe the little bugger can grow so quickly! And only one egg do we see left. We can't think of what happened to them. Maybe fat juicy babie sat on them? We did not see the eggs on the ground anywheres. I is sure hoping the last egg 'acides to hatch! 'Cause two snacks is better than one!

Haf a great weekend efurrybody!!

You know I wonder if this is a possiblity -- if those birdies have more eggs so that there is at least one baby that survives the nest -- maybe da baby bird eats da eggs to grow stronger -- I don't know but since there is no sign of da eggs where did they go?

We had some cardinals nests we got to watch and it was so neat, but never one as close as you have. This is really neat...

Great pictures. I know this is the wrong attitude, but I couldn't help salivating. Where is the mother bird?

Momma bird watches me very carefully! I actually was able to slip out, take a couple pix, and back in the house again today, before she even got back to the nest, lol! The daddy robin helps feed too. They are like a tag team.

How neat that you get to watch the robin grow. Mom thought she was going to be able to watch from afar, last year Robins made a nest in the tree right beside the house. She would watch them through the binoculars. She got pictures of Momma sitting on the nest. Don't know what happened but they disappeared and we never got to see any babies. You have a great view of watching them and being able to take pictures.
