The Dog Bed

Awwww...so cute! Let me start w/how we acquired this dog bed. One of the volunteers for the rescue group I foster for, A.R.T. (http://artanimals.org/), had rec'd the bed thru a donation to the group. She asked if I thought Sammie (my doggie) would use it. I said sure! She said she knew no other dog people and thought of Sammie, so we took it! Huge dog bed, btw!! And LL Bean to boot! BUT!!! Guess who uses it the most?? Yep, the kitties!! And my kids! I'm sure once the winter comes, Sammie might use it, but for now, the kitties and kiddies love it! So anyway, Emma was thoroughly enjoying a little nap and I couldn't resist snapping a couple...okay, about five pictures of her!

Once I snapped a few, she decided to bathe herself. Again, too cute, if I do say so myself!
Then (I KNOW! My hand totally looks deformed! Oh well!), she promptly gave momma kisses, I guess thanking me for this wonderful dog bed! Love you too Emma girl!

These are the sweetest pictures of Emma Girl. BTW, how did you name her? Back to Emma, I love this blog because Emma really comes alive on the pages.

Someone must have loved their doggy enough to give him to a no kill shelter. LL Bean dog beds aren't cheap! I just feel bad that they had to get rid of him/her.

BTW,agai, I see the coupon thingy is for the LL BEAN Outlet today, way cool!

Good morning! Hope all is well w/everyone! Emma looked so sweet and comfy in these pix! Rosie will enjoy the exposed belly shots if she makes it over here to Emma's Blog! Btw, make sure you click on the picture of Emma licking my deformed and gross(up close) looking hand! You can see her little tongue spikes. What do you call those??!

Kim - Emma was her foster name and it just suited and stuck to her.

Btw, I'll have you know, that I spent hours trying to get that code changed! I had to call the main branch of...J/K!! I was shocked when I was refreshing the page and it popped up!! You had to click that you wanted to change the sponsor(whatever it's called) and then refresh the page until you got one you liked. When LL Bean popped up, I was like HOLY CRAP! Kim gets her wish! LOL! And I hadn't realized that today's post had the LL Bean dog bed in it either. I had put it together yesterday a.m. and saved it as a draft. So it was before you had commented on LLB. Funny!

Kat, you're a great friend! You didn't have to do that for me, I do appreciate that you did, but you really didn't have to. If it was something easy to do in the end, maybe you could switch it up so that there is something for everyone. I feel so bad that you felt abligated to do it but thank you, you really are a great friend!

emma is really, really photogenic! she takes the best pics.

maybe we could make a calendar of our kitties. everyone gets a month(?) and we can put a collage of our cats pics. get them made up and shipped to each of us. definetely will help w/ remembering who belongs to whom. as is which bean belongs to which kitties. LOL might even be a thought for the NPO as a fund raiser.

I can believe it -- Emma and Boo could be twins! I see she is as loving and sweet as my little Boo is. Just absolutely adorable pictures...and what is even more of a twist is her brofur Ping is an orange tabby like Benji!

I like the idea of a calendar. That would be neat. It might be a good thing for a fundraiser, too. Has anyone checked into prices for printing?

Love these pictures of Emma. With Mrs. B, Emma, Boo and Oreo we have a whole bunch of pretty tuxedos.
